Betrayal, Boundaries, and the Choice to Love Well
Greatest lessons come from failure. Don’t be afraid to fail. The beginning of the year was quite underwhelming for me. The new year is always an exciting time to set new resolutions and goals. However, I found myself desperately crying to God for His intervention in a very painful situation. And in God’s true nature of being faithful, He came through. Not in the way I expected, but, He came through. So here’s the thing… Oftentimes, God answers our prayers, but not in the way we expect. Sometimes the answer is not found in something happening, but the answer could be found in our obedience. For me, the answered prayer…

Finding Rest…
For as long as I can remember, the holidays have always been a very exciting time for me. I grew up loving Christmas and all the festivities around the holidays. The new clothes that we get to wear, the food we look forward to eating, but most exciting, the time we get to spend with family. Even when current situations speak contrary, they always have encouraging words and speak life over themselves or the people…

In this post, I will be sharing something that God put on my heart at the beginning of the year, and I pray it encourages you as you continue to seek God for his leading and guidance. After my usual morning prayers, I felt the Holy Spirit impressing on my heart the need to be aware of distractions. My natural response to this was to assume that distractions had to be from social media. I thought maybe I watched too many movies or spent too much time on Instagram. God knows I love a good TikTok scroll after a long workday. However, as time went by, I realized there’s more…

The Woman at the Well: Finding True Satisfaction in Jesus
The story about Jesus and the Samaritan woman, also known as the woman at the well, is one of my favorite Bible stories because I identify with this woman on so many levels. If you are not familiar with the story, you can find it in John 4:1–26 on BibleGateway Our deepest fulfillment, our lasting peace, and our true satisfaction is found in Christ alone. This is a beautiful story of redemption and Jesus love for humanity. I want to specifically dwell on verses 13–14, which say in the NIV version: Jesus answered,“Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will…
